Skincare After Laser Treatment: The Korean Clinic Aftercare Routine

KAREMEDI JOURNAL · ROUTINES · UPDATED 2026-10-01

Korean dermatology clinics send patients home with a simple aftercare kit. Here is the routine and the products that go in it.

Always follow your provider first

Aftercare depends on the procedure. Use this as a general guide and follow your clinician's instructions.

Days 1 to 3

Cleanse with lukewarm water or a very mild cleanser. Apply a panthenol gel to comfort, then a silicone post-care gel or a centella balm. Avoid makeup and sun.

Days 4 to 14

Add a ceramide cream and a PDRN ampoule. Keep using mineral sunscreen and avoid actives until your provider says otherwise.

Why Korean clinics favor these products

They are gentle, fragrance-free and focused on comfort and barrier support. See silicone gel for post-procedure care.

Frequently asked questions

When can I use retinol after laser?
